Insights, summaries, and translations generated by Youser Manual are based solely on documents you choose to upload and are intended for personal reflection, self-awareness, and communication support only.
Using Youser Manual does not create a provider-patient relationship, therapist-client relationship, or any other professional care relationship of any kind.

Privacy Commitments
Encrypted at Rest & in Transit
Your documents are encrypted using AES-256 before storage and protected with TLS during upload and download.
HIPAA-Conscious Design
We handle your documents with HIPAA-aligned practices. We do not sell, share, or disclose your health information to third parties without your explicit consent.
AI Processing with No Retention
Documents are processed to generate insights and are not retained by our AI processing partner. Your documents are never used to train AI models.
Delete Anytime, Permanently
You can delete any uploaded document or generated insight at any time. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
Shared Links Expire
Any link shared with a loved one is time-limited to 30 days and revocable at any moment.
You Own Your Data
Your documents, insights, and manual belong to you. We claim no rights to your personal health information. Export or delete everything at any time.
What We Collect
We do NOT collect: Social Security numbers, financial account information, insurance information, or any information not directly provided by you.
Refund Policy
Youser Manual sells digital subscription access and one-time digital content unlocks.
Refund eligibility:
- Subscriptions: Full refund available within 48 hours of initial purchase if fewer than 2 manual sections have been accessed.
- One-time unlocks: No refunds once content has been accessed and viewed.
- Annual subscriptions: Prorated refund available within 7 days of purchase if no content has been accessed.
To request a refund contact us at support@yousermanual.app within the eligible window with your account email and purchase date.
Chargeback notice: Youser Manual contests all fraudulent chargebacks with full documentation including account creation records, login timestamps, content access logs, and purchase consent records with timestamps. Initiating a chargeback for accessed digital content may result in permanent account termination and being reported to Stripe's fraud prevention system.
Terms of Service Summary
By using Youser Manual, you agree that:
- You are using this platform for personal self-reflection and educational purposes only.
- You understand this is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service.
- You have the right to share any documents you upload with this platform.
- You will not use insights generated here as a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.
- You are responsible for choosing what information to share and with whom.
- Youser Manual is not liable for decisions made based on insights generated by this platform.
